Here, in Storozhynets, Alfred Margul-Sperber (1898-1967) was born,
one of the most famous Jewish poets of Bukovina, who wrote in German.

Wie ein alter Jude lehnt das Graberhaus:
Rauft der Wind sein Barthaar, Ziege rupft es aus.
